Bill’s research focuses on computational studies of perovskite oxide surfaces in solid oxide electrolysis. His current project aims to use ab initio thermodynamic modeling to investigate Sr segregation on perovskite oxide surfaces, and develops time-evolved theory to explain the kinetics of the phenomenon.
