Ben Kash
PHD student
Benjamin conducts research into corrosion chemistry within advanced nuclear reactors, focusing on the influence of radiative environments on electrochemical processes. His work specifically aims to elucidate degradation mechanisms of molten salts over a reactor’s lifetime and to develop mitigation strategies to support deployment. He is co-advised by Dr. Bilge Yildiz and Dr. Fikile Brushett.
